Wedding season has already begun for some brides, while you may not be a bride yourself this bridal season we know you want to have flawless skin, too. We’re all about having fun and feeling flawless in your skin whether you’re the bride or the bridesmaid, it’s such a fun and important day in everyone life – why can’t everyone feel beautiful? We know bridesmaids want flawless skin too, so we thought we would share some of our favorite tips to help any bridesmaids getting ready for a wedding get that flawless skin you’ve been trying to achieve.
Step Up How Much Water You’re Drinking
Ok, ok you probably already know that drinking water is incredibly important to your skin. But as you’re prepping for a big day, like a wedding, it’s time to take things up a notch. Water works wonders for your skin, it helps to flush out toxins and eliminate inflammation – giving you much more flawlessly looking skin. So if you really want that flawless skin for the wedding, get a LOT of water throughout the day. Make it a habit to carry water with you everywhere you go so it makes it easier to stay hydrated as you go about your normal routine.
Book a Facial
The thing about having flawless skin, is we all need a little help from the pros every once in a while. When you’re prepping your skin for a big event, and you’re excited to be a bridesmaid it’s a great idea to book yourself a facial appointment. Booking a facial with a professional is going to help give your skin a nice little boost in the right direction. The pros are able to do treatments and care to your skin during facials that you just can’t do at home. While you’re there, ask them what suggestions they have for any specific products or techniques to help you keep the results you get from the facial through the wedding. When they work on your skin so closely they’re going to be able to help you to get a handle on any skin care concerns you may have and really cater the service to your skin’s specific needs.
Exfoliate More Consistently
Exfoliating is such an important part in any skin care routine, especially as you’re leading up to a wedding as a bridesmaid. If you’re not already, get into the habit of adding an exfoliating step into your skin care routine. Experts suggest exfoliating your face 2-3 times per week for the best results, but make sure you’re not over doing it with the exfoliating treatment. In addition to exfoliating your face, don’t forget to exfoliate the rest of the skin on your body. Body scrubs and dry brushes are great ways to get a nice exfoliating treatment to the skin on the rest of your body – just do it while you’re in the shower, again 2-3 times per week. This will help keep your skin healthy, eliminate dead skin cells and get a much deeper clean than just cleansing will do.
